Screen & Sound

  • Preston City Hall (map)

Music and the moving image are the inspiration behind the next concert by the Preston Symphony Orchestra. The concert features the wonderful Antarctica Suite by Nigel Westlake, with guitar soloist Tim Lukey, and highlights from popular movies Jurassic Park, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Howl's Moving Castle. This concert is also an opportunity to hear a new work by Melbourne composer, Andrew Warmington, based on Lake Tyrrell and the night sky over Victoria's Mallee region. The orchestra is conducted by Andrew Groch, and includes an added screen component!

Online Bookings will close at 11 AM on 19/11/2023 - ticket sales will still be available at the door from 2PM.
